- Season Your Humidor: Before first use, wipe the interior cedar surfaces with a clean, damp cloth using distilled water. Place a small bowl of distilled water inside, close the lid, and leave it for 24-48 hours until the hygrometer reads 70-75%.
- Prepare the Humidifier: Submerge the humidifier tray in distilled water for 5-10 minutes. Wipe off any excess water and place it back in the accessory drawer.
- Add Your Cigars: Once seasoned, remove the bowl of water and add your cigars. They will now be stored in an ideal environment.
- Maintain & Monitor: Check the hygrometer weekly. When the humidity drops below 65%, simply re-soak the humidifier. Your Zenith humidor is now ready to protect and age your collection to perfection.
