This perfect environment is maintained by a redundant system of two humidifiers and a precision digital hygrometer, ensuring consistent humidity from the top drawer to the bottom. Initial Humidor Seasoning:
- Calibrate your digital hygrometer by placing it in a sealed bag with a Boveda calibration kit or a salt test for 24-36 hours. Adjust as needed.
- Using the included dropper, add 15-30ml of distilled water to each of the two humidifiers.
- Place the humidifiers inside the cabinet, one on the top level and one on the bottom for even distribution.
- Close the cabinet and leave it for 3-5 days, or until the humidity level stabilizes between 68-72%.
- Once stable, your humidor is seasoned and ready to house your collection.
