- Activate the Humidifier: Submerge the included black humidifier block in a solution of distilled water and propylene glycol (or just distilled water) for 15 minutes. Wipe away any excess moisture before placing it inside the humidor.
- Season the Cedar: Lightly dampen a clean, new cloth with distilled water and gently wipe the entire interior Spanish cedar surface, including the removable tray and the inside of the lid.
- Stabilize the Environment: Close the humidor with the prepared humidifier inside. Leave it closed for 24-48 hours, monitoring the digital hygrometer until it reads a stable 68-72% relative humidity.
- Engage the Melody: Once the humidity is stable, your humidor is ready to be stocked. Gently turn the mechanical winder on the music box to enjoy the melody as you arrange your collection.
